On 1 December, Prime Super confirmed its acquisition of two additional wind farms—one located in southwestern Victoria and another in western Victoria. The purchase of the Ferguson and Diapur wind farms complements Prime Super’s existing ownership of Mortons Lane Wind Farm, which is also located in western Victoria.

The Ferguson wind farm comprises three Vestas V136-4.0MW wind turbines and the Diapur wind farm has two Vestas V150-4.0MW wind turbines1. These, in conjunction with Mortons Lane Wind Farm, generate enough clean energy to power more than 31,000 Victorian homes and significantly reduce carbon emissions2.

Ferguson wind farm is located in the Corangamite Shire in southwestern Victoria and is connected to the existing 22kV electricity network. The Diapur wind farm is about 19km west of Nhill in western Victoria and was chosen due to its consistently strong winds. It is connected to the existing 22kV electricity network via the Nhill substation.

The acquisition of the Ferguson and Diapur wind farms was made in conjunction with PATRIZIA Pty Ltd, Prime Super’s investment consultant.
